'I don't want to be the poster girl for fat people,' says Vanessa Feltz, serial salad dodger and poster girl for fat people, whilst announcing she has undergone a gastric band operation.
Vanessa's a bit of an iPap veteran, having been spotted a couple of times this year, most memorably in a boat.
Jokes aside, there are pretty serious issues with being very overweight so we can only wish her the best of luck in her battle against the dessert trolley. We look forward to the day when, in her words, "Cheryl Cole and I would look identical - you wouldn't be able to tell us apart. I could be her body double"....
I think there's a little bit more to being Cheryl Cole than being skinny :)
